The UK transport sector will be undergoing a huge transformation over the upcoming decades, as it moves away from reliance on fossils based fuels.

In this webinar, BIP will present some exciting new research on the demand for hydrogen in the road/rail/aviation/marine sectors. With forecasts out to 2050, we will consider how the energy sources for the sectors are likely to evolve and the potential for hydrogen penetration at scale.

The report was developed in collaboration with National Gas Transmission, as part of the planning work for Project Union, which aims to repurpose existing gas transmission pipelines to create a hydrogen backbone for the UK.
