Biography
Lodovico Bianchi Di Giulio is Group General Counsel and Head of Legal & Compliance at BIP since 2021. A qualified lawyer (admitted to the Italian Bar) with over 20 years of international experience, he began his career at a “magic circle” international law firm, working on M&A, extraordinary transactions and capital markets. He then moved in-house to a major pan-European energy and infrastructure investor, which he contributed to establish. At BIP, he leads a team of more than 15 professionals covering M&A, Data Protection, IP, Quality & Certifications and Risk Management; he also acts as Secretary to the Board. His team was recognized as “Best Team - Consulting Sector” in 2023 and 2025; in 2024, Lodovico was awarded “Best In-house Counsel - Consulting Sector” and is listed in the Legal 500 Italy GC Powerlist.
